Google Translate is currently developing a new feature called Sticky Translation Mode.

This feature will allow the app to remember the last translation mode you used, so you won’t have to manually select it every time you open the app.

According to a report from Phone Arena on Monday (December 2, 2024), Google Translate currently offers several translation modes, including text, conversation, and Google Lens.

If you frequently rely on one specific mode, this upcoming feature could be a practical time-saver.

Based on Android Authority’s analysis of the latest version of Google Translate for Android, this feature is not exactly a new translation mode. Instead, it is an option that ensures the last mode you used will automatically appear when you reopen the app.

For example, if you previously used Google Lens for translation, Google Lens will instantly be active the next time you open the app. The same applies to conversation mode or text input.

While it may seem like a small update, this feature can significantly improve the user experience. In a busy daily routine, even saving a few seconds can make a difference.

However, the feature is still in development and has not yet been released to the public. Google has not provided any official details regarding its launch date.

With Sticky Translation Mode, Google Translate aims to make the app even more convenient. This feature is perfect for users who rely on Google Translate frequently and want a faster, more seamless experience.
